Bonus chapter page 21! Loki returns home.
It was when I started this page that I realized how important this chapter really is. Choices that Loki makes here affect the rest of his life, at least in TMK’s timeline. This is an example of TMK diverging violently from established myths (but not even the biggest one).
I will post the chapter online at some point, by the way, when I need a good buffer. It’ll just be available in the book version first.

Weaving was done by a lot of people in the viking age. It’s cold in Scandinavia, so you need a lot of blankets! If you were really rich, you probably had servants and maids weaving blankets for you, but most families weren’t rich, so they made everything themselves. Sigyn and Loki live in that valley alone with their sons, so they have to make most of the things they need.
There is another reason she’s depicted as a weaver. It will be explored later. :3

It makes me angry that I have to do this, but I’m going to do it anyway. Last week at Denver Comic Con, I went to a panel on women and body image in comics that I had very high hopes for. It was modded by the same woman who’d modded the very excellent Geek Girl panel earlier…
Don’t buy anything from Legacy Action Comics anymore! If you ever did (I’d never heard of them but I’m not that worldly).
